Norwegian artist, Pia Myrvold is also reknown as designer. She studied painting, but soon decided to use digital technologies.

Since her start, she has developped works mixing different technologies:

"My 30 years work history, as an interdisciplinary artist, practicing and merging painting, wearable art, textile, sculpture, architecture and urban planning and public participation, with the early 90ss mergence of internet; creating interface design and sensor bassed art, has in large parrt been based on modernist principles, from the early founders; the Surrealist, the Futurist, the Cubist, the Bauhaus, the Dadaist onward to Cobra, American Expressionism, Fluxus, The Situationists and the more recent Deconstructionists."

Since 1983, she had personal exhibitions worldwide: Perceptions, Norway 1983; Slow Emotion, Oslo 1990 ; Urban Upwind, architecture éphémère, Parc de la Villette, Paris 1992 ; The Bridge, New-York 2002 ; FLOW - a work in Motion, Venice 2011 ; WORKS IN MOTION Los Angeles. Her latest exhibition, Pia MYrvoLD-Art Avatar, in 2014 at centre Pompidou in Paris has received congratulations from the French Minister of Culture, Fleur Pellerin.
